The Scarborough Blizzard Youth Soccer Club has been serving the community of Scarborough since 1975. The not-for-profit club has volunteers sitting as Board and Members and they work tirelessly to ensure that their Recreational and Competitive teams progress.
In 2009, the Blizzard had 4 All Star teams competing in tournaments and many of those players are now moving up to the Competitive level.
Through on-going hard work and dedication on the part of Coaches, Managers, Players, Parents and countless Volunteers, the Club continues to grow and expand its programs to train Goalkeepers and develop Referees and Coaches both in the classroom and on the field.
Player Development training was also incorporated into the 2009 program — a first for the club.
The Competitive Teams who achieved success on the field in 2009 also gave back to the community by visiting children at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
The goal of the Scarborough Blizzards Youth Soccer Club is to exceed its Members’ expectations.
The club has worked diligently to automate many of its processes and will continue to find efficiencies in 2010 to ensure current information and programs are readily accessible to all Members.
The Scarborough Blizzard are looking forward to another fantastic year offering affordable and quality recreational and competitive soccer programs for the whole community!
