VAUGHAN, ON -- On April 21st, 2010, Registration Portal 2.0 was completed and deployed live to the web without the OSA first notifying our users.

The Registration 2.0 deployment resulted in unforeseen speed performance and time-out issues which severely impacted members using the system.

The OSA IT department is working diligently with our FSI (First Sport International) application and ProServ IT hosting suppliers to rectify these issues as soon as possible.

The OSA's Administration & Information Management System (AIMS) is a master data management application which is designed to integrate and automate all of The OSA's administrative functions.

The AIMS program has a phased implementation plan that will be fully completed over the next few years.The first phase included the replacement of all the functionality in the ITSoccerNet system (Registration and Website) by September 1, 2009.

League Manager is being replaced with the Competitions Portal which will be available in April 2010.

Future portals include Discipline, Course Management, ID Cards, Competition Hosting Approval & Team Entry Approval, Referee Assignments, All Star Teams and Member Management.
