UMBRO DEAL FOR KITS, 2013
Umbro Canada has once again extended an offer to the Canadian Soccer Association and the Ontario Soccer Association on discounted referee kits.
Umbro has released a new kit for 2013 that will be in circulation for 2-3 years. As was the case last year, Umbro kits are to be worn for all Canadian Soccer Association National Championship events (All Stars, Club National Championships, Canada Summer Games, CIS Championships, CCAA Championships) and all Ontario Cup Semi Finals and Finals, Ontario Summer Games (2015) etc.. Colours: Black and Yellow.
The Premiership II kits will still be in circulation from Umbro for anyone interested in purchasing that model.
As per the CSA In 2013 the third colour will be BLUE at Provincial competitions, red will not be permitted.
Due to the change in style between the Premiership line and the new National Referee line, the CSA will not enforce a specific style requirement for National Championship kits. If officials in your province have either the Premiership I or II kit, they will both be acceptable choices for the National Championships. The Ontario Soccer Association will also not be enforcing the new style kit in 2013.
You will be dealing individually and directly with Umbro. Mark Thompson is the lead contact. Please see the note on the xls file as to the rules of engagement. This will be on a first come first serve basis. Do not order from the OSA. Like last year, Umbro has a shipping and handling charge of $15.00.
The OSA will reimburse 50% of the cost of the kit (before taxes and shipping - $45.00) for any referee that is assigned to a competition that requires Umbro be worn, IF THAT REFEREE DID NOT RECEIVE A KIT, OR REIMBURSEMENT IN PRIOR SEASONS.
