There are two types of policies:
- Member Policies; and
- Operational Procedures
Member Policies are those that affect Members and the Members' affiliated organizations
Member Policies shall be developed and approved in accordance with the OSA's "Development And Approval Of Policies And Procedures Policy 2.0".
Any Member Organization, any member of the Board of Directors, any Committee, any Task Force, and any Staff department may initiate the development of, or revision to, a Policy by submitting to The OSA a proposal on a Request for Decision (R.F.D.) form provided by The OSA, in accordance with the procedures and timelines specified in Policy 5.0. Member Policies shall be approved by the Board of Directors at a regularly scheduled meeting.
