Jason Richard deVos, was three years old when his family moved from London to just outside Appin, Ontario. He was seven years old when he started playing soccer for Glencoe Minor Soccer Association. He earned his USSF Coaching A License and his UEFA A Diploma (Coaching Award) in 2013. He has also earned his UEFA PRO Diploma (Coaching Award) in 2016 from the Irish FA and Canada Soccer Coaching A Diploma in 2020. Jason was honoured by the Canada Soccer Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2013 and by the London Sports Hall of Fame. He was part of the Canadian team that won the 2000 Concacaf Gold Cup and was recognized as a Canada Soccer Team of Distinction, also the Canada Soccer Player of the Year in 2002. 

He represented Canada at the FIFA Confederations Cup Korea/Japan 2001 and in three cycles of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and three editions of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. He made 49 international "A" appearances across nine years from 1996 to 2004 with Canada Soccer's Men's National Team.

 In 2012 he was apart of the Canadian Soccer Association’s Centennial Celebration and was honoured on the All-Time Canada XI men’s team. His club careers and achievements include Canada, England, and Scotland with the Impact de Montréal, an APSL Championship winner (1994) and A-League regular season winner (Commissioner's Cup 996). He also served as a draw assistant for the Official Draw to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015. He is currently the Director of Development for Canada Soccer.
