Canada Soccer recently announced the details for the 2024 regional Masters competitions, including the format, dates, and matchups. This annual event showcases men's over-35 and women's over-30 teams from across the country, with the games taking place at two locations every September.

In 2024, the competition will bring together eight men’s teams and six women’s teams. The event will run from September 19 to 22 in Surrey, British Columbia (for the Women’s Masters and Men’s Masters West) and St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador (for the Men’s Masters East). The men's tournament is split into two groups of four teams, with western teams competing in Surrey and eastern teams, including Burlington, playing in St. John’s.

The final list of qualified teams for both the men's and women's competitions will be confirmed on September 2, following the conclusion of all the provincial championships.
