The final five Ontario Cup champions have been crowned, as the provincial championship concluded this weekend with wild weather and intense action.
The Ontario Soccer Centre Stadium was again host to clubs from across Ontario as the provincial championships, for the final five divisions, including the U-13 boys and girls, as well as the Tier 2 Ontario Cup divisions, came to a close.
The Ontario Cup is the largest competition of its kind in Canada. One of the oldest sporting events in the country, the Ontario Cup was first staged in 1901 and each year 12,000 athletes from all across the province compete for their division titles.
